You’ve found a routine and a range or ranges you love and that suit your skin. You stockpile whenever there’s an offer. You use your intelligence and analysis to understand what’s best and will often seek information and knowledge from your facialist and won’t change unless you’ve good reason to change or your trusted advisor tells you so. You’re not one for impulse buys and you make sure a product will do its job before you commit to it long term.
Using your skincare regularly is far more beneficial than the trend-seeker who chops and changes and is inconsistent. You’re playing the long game and will realise the long-term effects of products used daily. You can reach a plateau with skincare so a booster (upping the anti on an ingredient or two) will help you see a difference. Also if you’re sticking with a product you first discovered years ago there maybe some good scientific developments since then they you might be missing out on. At a minimum make a habit of listening to your skin with each change in season or milestone in your life. Weather is a big factor in skin health, so are hormones, stress, sleep and big physical life changes like pregnancy. It might mean you need to temporarily take the blinkers off, or mean a tweak the intensity of your routine or switch it up a little to maintain strength, balance and your healthy glow.
